Thai Synthetics Company Limited was the first
overseas venture of the Group, operating in Thailand
since 1970. Its present capacity stands at 65,712 spindles and 6,560 open end rotors, producing a total of 27,000 MT of yarn per annum.
As
Thailands leading synthetic yarn manufacturer
and exporter, it commands 50 per cent share of
the total synthetic spun yarn exported from Thailand,
and the companys turnover is over US$ 80
million. The companys state-of-the-art technology
has enabled it to meet the growing market for
superior quality yarns in 100 per cent rayon,
rayon blends and spun polyester serving quality-conscious customers worldwide. The company forayed into the production of dyed yarn in 2010.
The
companys technology suppliers include world-renowned textile machinery suppliers like Trutzschler
and Schlafhorst from Germany, Toyoda and Murata
from Japan, and Rieter from Switzerland. Its products
find end usage for apparel, furnishing and upholstery
fabrics, functional fabrics like sportswear, industrial
textiles, canvas, fishing nets, tyre cords, mattress
ticking, gum tape, Chenille yarns and backing
cloth.

Over 75 per cent of its quality products reach
customers across 25 countries including the US,
Brazil, Turkey, Greece, Belgium, Israel, Italy,
Spain, Portugal, Germany, Korea, Bangladesh and
Taiwan. Its final knit apparels are supplied to
top labels such as Banana Republic, H&M, JC
Penny, Sears, M&S, Lindex, Kapphal and Wal-Mart.
